The Forbes Theater

Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, the Forbes Theater at 500 Pearl is a beautifully restored historic venue that blends timeless elegance with modern charm. With its dramatic architecture, warm lighting, and intimate atmosphere, it offers the perfect setting for a romantic fall wedding. Guests will find plenty of nearby parking, hotels, and restaurants within walking distance, making it an easy and enjoyable destination for a full wedding weekend.

5:00 PM

Ceremony Begins

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We ask that guests arrive no later than 5:15 PM if they would like to watch the ceremony to find a seat before we begin.

After

Cocktail Hour Begins

Immediately following the ceremony, the reception will take place just outside at the wxyz bar. The bar will be open after the ceremony concludes. We ask family stay close by for photos

6:30 PM

Stationed Dinner Begins

While we will have a seating chart, we will have a station dinner service to create the meal of your choosing. We were sure to include options for all dietary restrictions, so everyone can find something to enjoy.

8:00 PM

Dance Floor Opens

After everyone has had a chance to eat, the dance floor will open with music by the DJ

11:00 PM

Reception Concludes

The bar will close at 9:45 PM, and the dance floor will close at 10:00 PM in the reception hall. We ask that guests be ready to leave at this time to make it easier on the staff.

Rooftop afterparty begins

Weather permitting, we will move the party to the Rooftop bar, where we have a private cabana and bottle service. If the weather does not cooperate, we will be at the bars on Chippewa St.

Common Questions

Is there a dress code?

We ask that everyone dress comfortably, but fashionably and formally. No Jeans. White dresses are strictly prohibited.

What are the wedding colors?

Our wedding colors are sage green and wisteria purple. You’re welcome to wear these shades if you’d like to match the theme, but absolutely not required.

Are Children welcome?

No.
This is a child-free event so Mom and Dad can enjoy a night out. Please leave the little ones at home and come ready to celebrate!

I forgot to RSVP before the deadline. What should I do?

Bring a folding chair and a sandwich.

Where do I park?

The Aloft hotel has a parking garage below the building. There are also several parking lots surrounding the building, and street parking is available on both Pearl and Franklin Street for free after 5 PM.

My invitation does not have a plus one. Can I bring a guest?

While we wish we could invite everyone, invitations are only extended to those whose names are printed. If you did not receive a plus one, please do not bring a guest and make it weird.
